Ethical and responsible
At FairVine we believe that investments for our members should be both Ethical and Responsible.
Ethical investing means that our members can contribute to their dreams of a better planet for themselves and their children.
Responsible investing means that each member can feel comfortable that their investments are being managed by experienced professionals, in a way that reduces some of the ups and downs in the market.
Save the planet when you save
At FairVine Super we aim to ensure that the funds we invest in do not include companies that engage in unethical practices.
All international equity investments in FairVine Super’s investment options exclude companies with significant business activities involving fossil fuels, alcohol, tobacco, military weapons and civilian firearms, nuclear power and adult entertainment. At the date of the publication of the PDS, Australian equity investments in FairVine Super’s investment options exclude companies with significant business activities involving tobacco and military weapons.
Why ethical investments?
Australians hold trillions of dollars in superannuation, which is a huge amount of investment power! As women, we can use that power by investing in a better world. All FairVine Super investment options are ethical, which means that they avoid investing in potentially harmful businesses, like weapons manufacturers and tobacco companies.
Is there an extra fee for ethical investing?
No. While some super funds charge you extra for wanting to invest ethically, at FairVine, we believe that you should not be penalised simply for wanting to invest in a better world.
